About Our Founder
Our Founder, Sophie Cowan has specialised over the past decade in UK and international Senior Hiring searches for the media, technology and FMCG sectors. Prior to founding SOCO Talent, Sophie worked as a Senior Recruiter at Korn Ferry RPO, where she was dedicated to hiring technical talent and leadership, focusing on cyber and cloud security for two global heavyweights in the high-tech and AI space:
Arm (creators of the chip designs powering billions of mobile and computing devices worldwide) and Ericsson (the innovators behind the telecoms networks that keep us connected).
Sophie assesses mutual holistic fit for each search she leads.

Earlier Career:
Sophie’s in-house talent sourcing and search experience also spans media (The Telegraph and Publicis Media Group) and global FMCG Philip Morris International, where she supported the global senior hiring for their evolving non-combustibles business from their HQ in Lausanne, Switzerland as part of an award-winning sourcing and talent intelligence function.
Sophie began her recruitment career in 2015 agency side, where she placed technical talent including engineers and data analysts into media brands including DMGT (Daily Mail and General Trust), LADBible Group, The Trade Desk, Integral Ad Science and Hearst.
